Welcome to Camp KnowMe

Getting to Know Me in Christ

What is  Camp KnowMe?

The vision of  this program originated in the hearts and spirits of two Christian women who have always set out to give, teach and care for children ranging from “knee high to a tree stomp” to pre-adults  Rev. Christene Duncan aspires to escort our pre-adults toward a smoother transition preparing them, long before college, for the great big world in which we live.

Our program is based on the belief that our children’s needs are of the utmost importance.  Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs.  As a result, a high percentage of our programs are based on personal strength, courage, responsibility, confidence and employable skill sets.

In Camp KnowMe the root of our success rests in the commitment contract entered in by the Camp KnowMe mentor, pre-adult and parent.  Before we move forward in the program each person must make a commitment to the success of the program.   This commitment is unlike ones you may be accustomed to where you are committing to someone or a group.  The commitment stipulations are created by each person according to what they are seeking to accomplish here at Camp KnowMe.  The commitment is made to yourself.

Everyone young and old have mountains to climb or move to meet any goal or accomplishment worthy of attaining in that persons view.  What we understand here at Camp KnowMe is that each persons view may be different.  It is that difference that Camp KnowMe is dedicated to embrace and give platform to along with you.  Your commitment should represent who you are, what you want out of life, what you think you can achieve.  There is no such thing as a silly dream or goal.

Take a few minutes to jot down some of your dreams and/or goals:

1. _________

2._________

3._________

We look forward to you following our blog and pray that you are strengthened through our ministry and program.

Yours In Christ,

Rev. Christene
