Day 43 Psalm 119: 161-168
161 Princes persecute me for no reason, but my heart stands in awe of your words.
162 I take joy in your promise, like someone who finds much booty.
163 I hate falsehood, I detest it; but I love your Torah.
164 I praise you seven times a day because of your righteous rulings.
165 Those who love your Torah have great peace; nothing makes them stumble.
166 I hope for your deliverance, Adonai; I obey your mitzvot.
167 My soul observes your instruction, and I love it so much!
168 I observe your precepts and instruction, for all my ways lie open before you.
Meditation Day 43 ” Great Peace”
165 Those who love your Torah have great peace; nothing makes them stumble. This is where we always begin and end with any issue in our lives. When we turn the responsibility over to YHWH and His instructions, we walk in peace, as we understanding the decision has already been made for us in the Torah. We often think of the scriptural phrase which refers to “having peace that passes all understanding.” Here is where I believe that walk of peace begins. The Torah dictates to you when to worship to stand in the presence of YHWH’s blessing according to His Moedim (appointed Feast days). This gives peace weekly on Shabbat as we stand in expectation of blessings. The obedience to what YHWH has instructed is where great peace is found. You may believe and understand immediately how you can gain peace through obeying YHWH’s Torah; but. when you create a habit that is intended and purposed for you by YHWH you are walking in your destiny and that renders ‘great peace.’
Reach for great peace! He will lift up His countenance upon you and give you HIS PEACE. YHWH has given us peace housed in His Torah. The greatest of all tools is the TORAH, as you use it to make all steps in your life you are walking in deeper and deeper levels of peace instilled as a blessing of obedience to those who keep YHWH’s word. Are you looking for great peace, look to the Torah to create your habits that keep you surrounded in peace, understanding and blessing.
Loving you enough to share the truth,
