Many will register the title of this blog post as a simple question, because we have heard the statement often through our growing years in the church. There is an offering at the end of each sermon called an ‘invitation to discipleship’. The invitation to be ‘saved’ is the same as an invitation to discipleship. Here is where we intentionally focus our communication and expression to the candidate to confirm their understanding of the commitment associated with invitation. The acceptance of Yeshua HaMaschiach (Jesus Christ , the Messiah) as a propitiation for mankind’s sin is the function of being ‘rescued,’ or ‘saved from the ‘law of sin and death’ ( pronounced nomos in Hebrew) . The ‘Greek interpretation of ‘salvation” as presented in historical teachings on all levels of Christianity today is from the word ‘saved as in rescued or spared.
The term salvation in Hebrew means ‘lifestyle’ which offers a deeper reflection of our topic today. There is an implication throughout the church of being found and changed by the witness of the Good News of Yeshua HaMaschiach (Jesus, the Messiah) saying, “the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand,” and receiving it by confessing Him alone. The invitation to become a disciple (talmudim) is a choice to live a particular way accepting the governance of a set of instructions by which to live. The invite is for those who, at the time of the invitation, do not subject themselves to study in order to learn to live out these instructions as did Yeshua HaMashciach (Jesus Christ) our Lord and Savior. The invitee has often prayed before hand to come into the full knowledge of Christ Jesus.
There is a level of study that is expected of the new disciple to increase the mindset function of the knowledge, understanding and wisdom throughout ones daily life after accepting the invitation. This is a clearly expressed expectation which comes with the invitation of salvation, defined in the Hebrew language as lifestyle. As we look to the ‘invitations’ offered today across the denominations of churches, it is safe to say that people are moving further away from accepting the invitation, because they believe they hold the complete testimony of the remnant with whom Yahweh will set up His Kingdom through.
When we glance back at our blog topic today, I am encouraged to ask now, have you truly been found? Discipleship is a commitment to the process of study and application. There are inquiries of commitment asked prior to acceptance, confirming the understanding of the individual’s commitment to the process of inviting a permanent resident to occupy their heart and through which Yeshua can function. There is an anticipated inhabitation when you commit your heart to Yeshua. The Holy Spirit will take up residence with us permanently to lead us to all truth in knowledge, understanding and wisdom obtained. It is by the Holy Spirit that we are able to observe the Torah in governing our lives.
As we continue to walk out the seek described in Matthew 6:33, the word ‘kingdom’ is married to the word ‘governing,’ which is also described as ‘law,’ yet this word is a stringent concept bruising the ears of Christians in many cases. This rigid type of mood associated to the word ‘law’ is intended. It is the perfect backdrop for Greek theologians to find a point of smoothing out, an imaginary jagged edge in the responsibility of honoring Torah. They smooth the rough perspective of the word ‘law’ by rejecting the Torah in the life of those saved by the blood of the lamb Jesus Christ. The word ‘law’ is synonymous with the word ‘governing’ yet, it is key to stretch our conscious thought past the term ‘law’ and accept the fact that we will assign someone to govern us. Churches are not receptive to direct a true focus of the word ‘law/governing’ their lives. If you have not chosen Yahweh’s teaching and instructions to govern your salvation (lifestyle), then who is governing the lifestyle you dedicate to God? You will be governed one way or another, it is inevidable and YHWH knows this, therefore an option to choose is presented.
The scriptures read, in Deuteronomy 30:19 to ‘choose life or death, and if we remain stagnant believing we have not chosen, we deceive yourselves. There is a choice made by default, failure to move is ultimately a move. There is no possibility of staying neutral, this is the biggest deception fed to this world at light speed. The distraction or delusion is there are many options from which to choose, when in reality we only have two choices, life or death, and YHWH suggests we choose life. It is inevitable we will adhere to the governing of a Kingdom, our purpose is to choose the right Kingdom. In addition, it is important to recognize we can only function in one or the other kingdom and allow that kingdom covenant to operate as a lifestyle. The scripture read time and time again, still leaving a question mark over our heads each time we hear it, found in Matthew 7:21-23 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants. 22 On that Day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ 23 Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness (Torah-lessness).
There is a legal position for those who are in the kingdom to possess the land as an heir. The legal position is not held or honored by these would be effective (in Matthew 7:21-23) individuals in what the Church identifies as kingdom building. These people likely in ministry that have cast our demons and prophesied in the name of Yeshua. The legal position comes with the legal document (Kingdom Covenant Instructions) stated and kept by those who love Yahweh. The lifestyle expected by the King from the community of which He has ruler ship is to function by Kingdom covenant instructions. These steps are progressed by choosing ‘life or death,’ this will bring your words to fruition. We can accept Yeshua HaMaschiach as the means by which you are saved, but fail to walk out a life honorable of that Salvation. Salvation is a lifestyle not a profile. Profiles only reveal a few basics about a person on the outside. Any and everyone asked today will proclaim to be a believer, with a Christian upbringing; but a lifestyle associated with the salvation claimed is difficult on earth as it is in heaven to recognize in this day and at this time.
The testimony is a combination of proclamations, the testimony of the Torah given to Moshe on Mt. Sinai, by keeping and honoring the Sabbath and the holy days regularly. The second song is the Song of Yeshua HaMaschiach is our Messiah, who gives us the grace and privilege to do the Torah and proclaim our inheritance through the shed blood of Yeshua. The blog post today asks the question, have you been found? If you only have one side of the testimony of the ‘remnant of Israel; who are being gathered in this season then you are still lost. Yes, one side means even only having the Torah without the confession of Yeshua HaMaschiach as the risen Messiah, then you too are still lost. The invitee normally has prayed to come into the full knowledge of Christ Jesus. Those who have the revelation of the full knowledge of Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMaschiach) carry both the honor of Sabbath, feast days and instruction of the Torah on their lips along with the confession of Yeshua coming in the flesh, dying for sins, and rising on the third day.
John states, this is the reason he was placed on he Isle of Patmos. because he carried a testimony of God’s word and Yeshua HaMaschiach as Messiah. Read it here in Revelation 1:9,
According to the scriptures the two sticks shall become one, Judah and Joseph (Ephraim) will become one as Israel according to the prophet Ezekiel
Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
The two will become one, those who are drawn to YHWH in this season will hold a complete testimony of Torah and Yehsua HaMaschiach. Now, we look at the question again, have you been found? Are you listening for Yahweh’s voice drawing you to a greater understanding of who He is?
Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
if the answer is yes, then as Eli told young Samuel after being awaken by the lad hearing someone calling him for the third time, respond and be attentive to the Voice of YHWH in this season.
Loving you enough to share the truth,
Prophetess C. C.
